The Lord Bishop of Salisbury

to ask Her Majesty’s Government what measures they are taking to encourage the government of Sudan to increase their efforts to resolve the disputed census and referendum law and to develop plans for the 2010 elections, in the light of violence and rearming in the south of the country. (1 hour)


Lord Hameed

to ask Her Majesty’s Government what measures they have taken to prevent cerebral palsy. (1 hour)


Lord Crisp

to ask Her Majesty’s Government what progress has been made towards implementing the aims of the Vision 2020 initiative to prevent avoidable blindness and support those in developing countries who are unavoidably blind. (1 hour)


Lord Harrison

to ask Her Majesty’s Government, with reference to the agreement of July 2006 between the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport and the BBC, what is their assessment of the extent to which the BBC has paid sufficient regard to the importance of reflecting humanism in its programmes, particularly in relation to Thought for the Day. (1 hour)
